Related-party and group exposure file audit

Scoring engines see the applicant in front of them. Group risk lives in the notes, the SSM printouts, the director list, and the other facilities the same hands already carry. When those threads are missing from the application file, the score can be tidy and the exposure still concentrated.

We read commercial packs for related-party disclosure, common ownership, cross-guarantees, and whether existing group facilities were brought into the capacity and limit discussion. We do not build a full corporate tree from public records unless that work is separately instructed; we audit what the file itself claims and what it failed to claim given the exhibits attached.

This work is most useful before a programme is scaled, after a cluster of early problems in a trade sector, or when a book is being prepared for a second-line or regulatory conversation about concentration.
